The published price covers the pod fully fitted out as standard — LED lighting, continuous ventilation while the pod is in use, acoustic glazing, a power socket with USB-A and USB-C, a proximity sensor that brings the lighting and ventilation up as you step in and powers them down after you leave, and wheels so the pod can be repositioned.

The furniture is included too: a meeting table, two upholstered sofas, and a wall mount ready for a screen. All of it is standard, not a paid upgrade.

Delivery and professional installation are quoted with your order, based on your location and site access.

We hold stock of our standard models locally in New Zealand, so if the model you want is in stock we can usually deliver and install within one to two weeks.

If your order needs to be manufactured, the lead time is approximately eight weeks. That applies to custom pods too — a custom build does not take longer.

No. A conversation at ordinary speaking volume stays in the pod — it is not intelligible to people working outside it.

That is a function of how the pod is built rather than of where you put it. The wall is four layers deep, the door is acoustic glass on a full-perimeter seal that engages when it closes, and even the ventilation ducts are internally baffled so they cannot carry sound out. A pod is only as good as its weakest gap, which is why the seal matters as much as the panels.

The wall is built in four layers: a powder-coated steel outer panel, acoustic foam, acoustic cotton, and an acoustic felt panel forming the inner surface. The door uses acoustic glass, and the pod has a full-perimeter seal that engages when the door closes.

It is the combination that does the work — mass to block sound, soft layers to absorb it, and a good seal so it cannot leak around the edges. A gap anywhere undoes the rest, which is why the seal matters as much as the panels.

Because the pod is assembled in position, it is the delivery sections that have to fit your access route, not the finished pod. Tell us about your access — lift, doorways, stairs, floor level — and we will confirm what is needed before you order. On the day, the installers need a clear path to the install position and a standard power outlet within 2 metres of it.

Every model is 2185 mm tall. These are the footprint of the assembled pod, for planning where it will sit.

A lift is by far the easiest route, but it is not essential: where there is no lift, or the sections will not fit one, our team carries them up the stairs. Stair access may add to the cost of installation, and we will confirm that with you before booking.

Modern commercial office floors are typically rated well above what any Peacepod model requires. If you are in an older or non-standard building, check with your building manager before ordering and we will provide the pod weight and footprint for their assessment.

Your pod is assembled on site. It is delivered in sections and our installation team builds it in position, so there is nothing for you to assemble.

Installation time depends on the model and the site. We will confirm what to expect when we schedule your delivery.

The Peacepod frame is covered by a 5-year warranty. The furniture, electrical parts, and sound-absorbing panels carry a 1-year warranty.

The warranty covers repair or replacement at our discretion. It does not cover damage from misuse, unauthorised modification, or normal wear and tear. You can read the full warranty terms for what is and isn't covered, and how to make a claim.

The L4-Pod is designed for four. That is what the table and seating are sized for, and four is the number it is comfortable at for a long session — a workshop, a retro, an hour-long team meeting where people need room to work.

Six will fit. For a shorter meeting — a stand-up, a quick review, something that runs twenty minutes rather than ninety — six average-sized adults get in and sit down without it being a squeeze. It is the length of the meeting that decides it, not the headcount on its own.

If most of your meetings are six or more and they run long, look at the XL-Pod instead. Both are 2150 mm wide; the XL-Pod is 2100 mm deep against the L4-Pod’s 1350, and that extra depth is the whole difference.
