How Peacepod started

Peacepod began with a frustration you might recognise.

Stuck in a noisy open-plan office with nowhere to focus, our founder Rob Berman ended up perched on a chair in reception—laptop, paperwork, and phone balanced on his knees. He realised that if he could just shut out the noise for an hour, he’d get so much more done.

So, he built the answer. Founded in January 2020, Peacepod was created to help teams find quiet. We decided to do things differently by selling directly from the manufacturer. That means no middle-man mark-ups—just a straight line between you and the people who build your pod.

Today, we're on a mission to change how open-plan offices work: helping teams find their focus in shared spaces, one quiet pod at a time.
